The A449 is a major road in the United Kingdom. It runs north from junction 24 of the M4 motorway at Newport in south Wales to join with the A40 between Abergavenny and Monmouth. The A449 reappears at Ross-on-Wye at the junction of the A40 and the M50 motorway and continues roughly north-east to Ledbury, Malvern, Worcester, then turns northwards to Kidderminster and Wolverhampton before meeting the M6 motorway at junction 13, and finally terminating in Stafford.
