Ajax Cape Town is a South African Premier Soccer League team based in Parow, Cape Town. It plays its home games at the Athlone Stadium, having moved from Newlands Rugby Stadium at the end of the 2004/2005 season. Ajax plan to build a new stadium in Phillipi in time for the 2006/2007 season.

Ajax CT was formed in 1999, via the amalgation of two Cape Town-based teams, Seven Stars and Cape Town Spurs, as Ajax Amsterdam expanded their worldwide talent-feeder network to South Africa.

The Ajax CT project has had limited success, with club winning a solitary title with Steven Pienaar being one of the few talents to make the grade for a move to Amsterdam, back in 2002.

In 2006 there is much debate as to whether the club should relocate to Kimberley in the Northern Cape, where a strong fan-base is developing.

Turkish coach Muhsin Ertugral is the new coach of the Ajax team. His job will be to install the 'Ajax' style into the team.
