Attica Zoological Park

Attica Zoological Park, is a large, private zoo located in the Athens suburb of Spata. It is the only one of its kind in Greece. The zoo is accessible by the Attiki Odos at the 17th and the 19th exits or at the 40th and the 46th km with the road linking Kantza and Paiania.

The zoo has an African savannah exhibit with zebras and giraffes. There is also a reptile house and a children's farm. The zoo's big cats include white lions and tigers, as well as black puma and leopards. Originally a bird park, the zoo continues to display many caged birds. The zoo has several and walk-through enclosures, including a "monkey's jungle".

In October 2005, the zoo began to run daily shows featuring birds of prey and sea lions.
