Autocunnilingus is a sex act in which a woman performs oral sex on herself; a form of masturbation. It is the female counterpart to the male act, autofellatio.

While autofellatio is well-documented, autocunnilingus would necessarily be more difficult to perform because the female genitalia are a greater distance from the mouth than the head of an erect penis (especially a longer than average penis, which is common in autofellatio).

The capability to perform what contortionists describe as an extreme frontbend would be necessary in order to achieve autocunnilingus. Women are naturally more flexible than men , which may compensate for the greater distance between mouth and genitalia. Contrary to the claim that a woman's breast size would counteract her natural flexible advantages (by impeding progress by pressing against the back of the thigh), this only applies to women with very large breasts (naturally occurring or with large implants). Most contortionists lack the body fat that, if present, would impede other areas of contortion as well.

Possibility

Whether autocunnilingus is possible is a matter of dispute. Skeptics note a lack of citable and provable evidence, while others concede that autocunnilingus may be possible, though very rare . Generally-available images of contortionists performing frontbends do not appear to depict the head and genitalia close enough to perform autocunnilingus, so a woman who was capable of autocunnilingus would also be capable of exceeding the generally-known feats of contortionists.

The strongest evidence for the non-existence of autocunnilingus is the apparent failure of the pornography industry to produce images of it en masse, even though there is evidence of substantial interest in pornography depicting contortionists performing sexual acts. Unlike the large number of images available depicting autofellatio, the few images which claim to depict autocunnilingus appear to be either ambiguous or to be photo-manipulations.

Nonetheless, given the wide range of human variation, it is impossible to rule out the possibility that some women may be capable of autocunnilingus, since the difference between the flexibility needed to perform an extreme frontbend and that needed for autocunnilingus is only one of degree.
