Banu Taim

''This is about the sub-clan of Quraish, for the tribe see Banu Tamim.Banu Taim is a sub-clan to the Quraish tribe. It was closely affiliated with the Quraish tribe . They converted to Islam in the eighth year after the Hijra.

When Abu Bakr became Caliph he sent Khalid bin Walid against some clans of the Bani Tamim in the Ridda Wars (Apostasy Wars).

They come from Taim ibn Mura.
