Ben Atkins (Neighbours)

Ben Atkins (born Christopher Wilkinson) was a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Brett Cousins from 1997 until the character's departure in 1998. Ben returned to Erinsborough for a few episodes centered around his mother's wedding. He was born to a teenage Ruth Wilkinson, and adopted out. He first went to Erinsborough to trace his real mother, and ended up telling half-sister Anne first, after she attempted to make a pass at him. He settled in at Number 30 and worked as a mechanic, pursuing motor racing as a hobby until being critically injured in a crash. Ben was on a zimmer frame for a while to assist his walking and on his release from hospital, he moved in with the Wilkinsons. Having recovered, Ben left Erinsborough to move to Sydney to get to know his biological father, Geoff.
