Black Star Dragonballs
The
Black Star Dragon Balls are
fictional objects from the
Dragon Ball GT anime.
The Blackstar Dragonballs were created by
Kami before he divided from
Demon King Piccolo. They're more powerful than the Earth's current Dragonballs, though they are able to grant only one wish. When a wish is made on the Blackstar Dragonballs, the Blackstar Dragonballs are scattered throughout the galaxy, and if they are not gathered on the planet the wish was made on within a year's time, the planet will explode.
Goku,
Pan and
Trunks end up searching for them in the first saga of DBGT. They find one on Planet Luud which brings them into the
Bebi saga as they meet
Dr. Myuu. The Black Star Dragonballs look almost identical to normal dragonballs except that they have black stars instead of orange.
Emperor Pilaf, now old, along with Shao and Mai enter Kami's place during Goku and Uub's training. Pilaf enters a room where the Blackstar Dragonballs are in. He summons the Blackstar Shenlong, a larger, red version of the Earth's dragon. Aiming to wish for world dominance (as always), Pilaf is stopped in his tracks by Son Goku, and by an accident, Pilaf wishes for Goku to be returned to the body of a child, thus starting Dragonball GT.
When Goku, Pan, and Trunks return from space after finding all seven of the Blackstar Dragonballs,
Dende (who was possessed by
Bebi at this point) takes the Dragonballs and hands them over to Bebi. After defeating Goku, Bebi uses the Blackstar Dragonballs to wish for a new Planet Vegeta to be restored in Earth's orbit, the planet the
Tuffles once possessed. After this the Blackstar Dragonballs scatter once again across the North Galaxy.
After Bebi is defeated by SSJ4 Goku, Earth is set to explode because of Bebi's use of the Blackstar Dragonballs. Goku and his friends and family manage to get everyone to Planet Plant, with the exception of Piccolo, who wishes to remain on Earth. Piccolo tells Goku that if he dies, then so do the Blackstar Dragonballs, since they were created at a time he and Kami were one. Piccolo dies, and with him, the Blackstar Dragonballs vanish forever.
