Briarcliff is located at (30.411326, -98.044899), about 20 miles west of Austin.
According to the
United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 3.8
km² (1.5
mi²). 3.6 km² (1.4 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it (5.48%) is water.
As of the
census of 2000, there were 895 people, 369 households, and 260 families residing in the village. The
population density was 250.4/km² (647.0/mi²). There were 455 housing units at an average density of 127.3/km² (328.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 95.31%

Asian, 2.23% from
other races, and 1.45% from two or more races.

Latino of any race were 7.37% of the population.

married couples living together, 6.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.3% were non-families. 22.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.43 and the average family size was 2.86.
In the village the population was spread out with 22.8% under the age of 18, 4.8% from 18 to 24, 32.0% from 25 to 44, 31.6% from 45 to 64, and 8.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 104.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.3 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $76,453, and the median income for a family was $82,507. Males had a median income of $50,000 versus $33,906 for females. The
