Debbe Dunning
Debbe Dunning, sometimes credited as
Debra Dunning, (born
July 11,
1966 in
Burbank, California) is an
American actress. She graduated from John Burroughs High, the same school her parents graduated from exactly 20 years earlier. She was a
cheerleader and her school's Homecoming Queen. She won the title of Miss Burbank 1984. Her modeling career began with numerous
Miller Beer advertisements, and her first
television commercial was for
Foot Locker. She has also appeared in ads for
Ford Motors. She received national exposure as Louise, the "Run for the Border Girl" in a series of
Taco Bell commercials.
Debbe Dunning is best known for playing the 'busty and beautiful tool assistant' Heidi Keppert, the
Tool Time girl on the
ABC Sitcom,
Home Improvement. She had previously guest-starred in an episode of the show in an earlier season, and the show's producers selected her to return as a full-time member of the cast. She has also appeared on various TV shows and movies, including
1988's
Dangerous Curves (in which she was credited as "Debra Dunning"). She was the reigning champion of the
American Gladiators Celebrity Challenge two years running.
She is currently married to American volleyball legend,
Steve Timmons (
11 May 1997 - present) and has two children: a daughter, Spencer Schae (born in
2 December 1996) and a son Stony (born in
2000). She has two dogs: Charlie, a miniature
schnauzer, and Roxie, a
boxer.
Her favorite sports include
skiing,
roller skating,
golf,
hiking, and
tennis.
As of December 2004 Debbe Dunning is the spokesperson for a breast enlargement drink.
