Diggerland
Diggerland is a the name of three
theme parks in
England based around the theme of diggers and
JCBs.
Rides include a modified
digger in which visitors sit in an adapted shovel and are spun around in the air, opportunities to drive - and take full control of - many forms of diggers, four wheel drive adventures, and much more!
More paticularly, these include different types of construction machinery including Dump Trucks, Mini
JCB Diggers and Giant JCB Diggers (all under strict supervision). Attractions include rides, drives and static displays, along with play areas.
There are three parks which operate under the Diggerland name, in
Kent,
County Durham, and
Devon.
In June 2006, Diggerland announced that they will be breaking ground for a new Diggerland in the
United States, near
Richmond, Virginia due to open in 2007.
