Earl of Birkenhead

The title of Earl of Birkenhead was created in the Peerage of the United Kingdom in 1922. The title became extinct upon the death of the 3rd Earl in 1985.

The Earls bore the subsidiary titles of Viscount Birkenhead (1921), Viscount Furneaux (1922), and Baron Birkenhead (1919).

*Frederick Edwin Smith, 1st Earl of Birkenhead (1872-1930)
*Frederick Winston Furneaux Smith, 2nd Earl of Birkenhead (1907-1975)
*Frederick William Robin Smith, 3rd Earl of Birkenhead (1936-1985)
