Geervliet
) is a town in the
Dutch province of
South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of
Bernisse, and lies about 6 km northwest of
Spijkenisse on the
Brielse Maas. It received
city rights in
1381.
In 2001, the town of Geervliet had 1670 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.34 km
2, and contained 687 residences.
