George Regas

George Regas November 9, 1890 - December 13, 1940 was a Greek/American actor.

Born in Sparta, Greece, he was the brother of actor Pedro Regas. He was a stage actor in Athens before coming to the U.S. as Romeo in a Grecian version of "Romeo and Juliet," which he performed in New York. In 1932, he made his only appearance in a Broadway theatre play.

Regas played character parts in numerous films, many of them uncredited. Regas often played Latinos, Native Americans or Italians. Was married to actress Reine Davies; brother-in-law of Marion Davies.

George Regas on December 13, 1940 in Los Angeles, California.
