George W. Vanderbilt

George Washington Vanderbilt (1839-1864) was the youngest son of Cornelius Vanderbilt, and thus a member of the prominent Vanderbilt family. He died in 1864 at the age of 25, two years after the birth of his well known nephew and namesake, George Washington Vanderbilt II. Yet another namesake was his great-great-nephew, George Washington Vanderbilt III.
