Gluecode

Gluecode is an application server, based on Geronimo code from the Apache Software Foundation. The source code for Gluecode is maintained by Gluecode Software, Inc., which was acquired by IBM in May, 2005. IBM has now renamed the product to WebSphere Application Server Community Edition. They plan to offer it to their customers, as a free alternative to other editions of WebSphere Application Server.

IBM has announced that support options will be available for purchase and it's expected that migration paths to the other editions of WebSphere Application Server will be available in the future.
