Huang Yi is a Chinese writer of
wuxia novels.
From the golden ages of wuxia literature to the 90's, only a few talented wuxia authors such as
Wen Ruian are left. Wuxia literature became under attack by the general public and lost its previous aurora. However, the emergence of Huang Yi infused new life into wuxia.
From "Fu Yu Feng Yun" to "Xun Qin Ji" and to the now popular "Da Tang Shuang Xiong Zhuan", Huang Yi combined science fiction to traditional Chinese culture (metaphysics, philosophy, etc) to create a new style of "science fiction" wuxia.
