It Takes Two (Australian television)

It Takes Two is the Australian version of UK series Just the Two of Us [1]. The show, which premiered on Sunday, May 28 2006 at 6.30pm, features a number of celebrities (or stars) whom were paired with a singing coach/professional singer. Each week, each team sings a duet and compete against each other in a competition to impress a panel of judges and the viewing public in order to survive potential elimination. The show was originally referred to in the media as Singing with the Stars, partly because of the similarity in concept to Dancing with the Stars.
