Strange Vent* A generic card that could be used by any of the 13 Riders. Once activated, it changed itself into one of the Advent cards of the 13 Riders in a
random manner. In the TV series, it had become the
Trick Vent card of
Masked Rider Knight in one occasion and the
Steal Vent card of
Masked Rider Odin in another. In the case of Ryuki, it seemed to follow a pattern: it consistently copied the next advent card that would be used by the opposing rider.
* "Ryuki (龍騎)" means "Dragon Knight" in
Japanese.
* "Rekka (烈火)" roughly means "Raging Flame" or "Wild Fire".
* "Zwei" means "two" in
German language.
* Ryuki is a "balanced" Rider with equally powerful melee and far-range fighting capabilities. His special element seems to be fire, given his dragon's augmentation to his armor. His most used weapon is his Sword Vent, modeled after a chinese Dao sword, and his Final Vent is a drop kick called "Ryuki Kick" (a playoff from the usual "Rider Kick" the original Kamen Riders used). However, once Shinji obtains the Survivor card from Shiro Kanzaki, his Final Vent involves his dragon turning into a motorcycle and ramming into the opponent at full speed.
* Is good-hearted, playful, friendly, a naive idealist and a journalist, although since becoming Ryuki, he has been lost his apartment, fired once and is barely able to maintain his job since getting it back.
* He has no prize, his reason for fighting is to protect people from the Mirror World monsters and stop the Kamen Riders from fighting.
* Was stabbed in the back by a monster before he could transform while protecting a little girl and died shortly afterwards.
* After Shiro Kanzaki reverted time back to normal, Shinji returned to being a normal journalist.
* Kamen Rider Ryuki is one of the few main Kamen Riders in existence not to resemble an insect in his transformed state.
