Kathryn Trapani
Kathryn Trapani (born
Kathryn Webster) is an Australian fashion model & professional dancer, best known as one of
Bert Newton's on-screen assistants on
Bert's Family Feud.
When she was a teenager, she studied ballet and classical dance at several
Victorian ballet schools. After graduating, she worked as a dance teacher, and was hired as a choreographer for the Victorian Institute of Gymnastics.
She has modeled in several TV & print commercials, on
Good Morning Australia (during the
Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival), and in numerous fashion parades & corporate events.
After appearing with
Mandy Ritchie as dancers in an early promotional spot for
Bert's Family Feud in January 2006, Bert Newton decided to hire both ladies full-time as his co-hostesses for the revived game show.
She now lives in Melbourne with her husband, who is Italian.
