Kings of Jorvik



This position was regularly in control of Jorvik/Northumbria and intermittantly of Dublin, the Isle of Man and Five Burghs. Kings of Dublin took the throne and Kings of Wessex later outright annexed the land, occasionally renewing the title in a lesser rank. See: Ainsty
*Swedish Halfdan Ragnarsson was first King of Jorvik d. 877
*Norwegian Eirik Bloodaxe was last King of Jorvik d. 954
