Kottbusser Tor (Berlin U-Bahn)

The underground station Kottbusser Tor is part of the Berlin U-Bahn network. It is on U1 and on U8. Many Berliners endearingly call it Kotti.

It is located in central Kreuzberg. The area has a bad reputation for the relatively high crime rate, instances of which have recently become quite few in most other parts Kreuzberg.

The Kottbusser Tor was a southern gate of Berlin, the road through the gate lead via Neukölln to the South Brandenburg town of Cottbus.
