Kyonggi University

Kyonggi University (경기대학교) has two campuses, one in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea and another in Seoul. Kyonggi University has over 13000 enrolled students. Main teaching language is English in International college and Korean in rest of the University.

History

Founder: Dr. Sang-kyo Son

Kyonggi University was established in 1947 to train kindergarten teachers.
* 1947 - Choyang Kindergarten Teacher's School
* 1957 - Kyonggi Institute
* 1 March 1964 - Kyonggi College, Seoul
* 1979 - Suwon Campus opened
* 5 October 1984 - Kyonggi College upgraded to Kyonggi University
