Law school

law school (or
school of law) is an institution specializing in
legal education. Typically, the term refers to schools that operate independently from the larger university or college which hosts the school and is often distinguished from a
faculty of law which tends to be more closely connected with the university or college. Nevertheless, the distinction is not universal.
Law schools in Canada and the US typically require three years of study after completing an undergraduate degree.
