Little Italy

Little Italy is a general name for an ethnic enclave populated (or formerly populated) primarily by Italians or people of Italian ancestry. It can also be the name of a specific Italian neighbourhood, as in these cities:
*Little Italy in Baltimore, Maryland
*Little Italy in Cleveland, Ohio
*Little Italy in Chicago, Illinois
*Little Italy in Ottawa, Ontario
*Little Italy in Manhattan, New York City, New York
*Little Italy in San Diego, California
*Little Italy in Syracuse, New York
*Little Italy in Toronto, Ontario
*Little Italy in Vancouver, British Columbia
*Little Italy in Montreal, Quebec
*Little Italy in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Some Italian neighborhoods may have other names, but are colloquially referred to as "Little Italy," including:
*Belmont/Arthur Avenue, The Bronx, New York City (sometimes known as the Little Italy of the Bronx)
*The First Ward in Newark, New Jersey, now known as "Seventh Avenue."
*The Italian Market and South Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
*The Hill, Saint Louis
*North End, Boston
*Bloomfield, Pittsburgh
*North Beach, San Francisco
*Federal Hill in Providence, Rhode Island
*Brier Hill, Youngstown, Ohio
*Pittston, Pennsylvania
*Norton Street in Leichhardt, Sydney, Australia
*Lygon Street, Melbourne, Australia
