Michael Fishman
Michael Desmond Quatil, better known as
Michael Fishman (born
October 22,
1981 in
Manzanillo, Cuba) is a young actor best known for playing
Roseanne Barr and
John Goodman's son, D.J. Conner, on the long-running series
Roseanne. He has made appearances in some movies and other TV shows. Michael's family moved to
Long Beach, California on his fourth birthday. His stage surname comes from his stepfather, Daryl Fishman. He graduated from
Los Alamitos High School and did not appear to be heading for a future in acting. However, in a recent
Larry King interview with the cast of Roseanne, Fishman claims he wants to get back into the entertainment industry.
Fishman married
Jennifer Briner on his 18th birthday and has 2 children; a son, Aaron Andrew, and a daughter, Jamie Elizabeth. His wife, Jennifer, works in a day-care-center; she is 2 years his senior. Has an older sister named Robyn Danielle Quatil (1978 - 2005) and a younger brother named Matthew Lewis Fishman (b. Dec. 15, 1991).
