Midland Football Alliance

Official Logo.

The Midland Football Alliance (also known under the terms of a sponsorship arrangement as the Polymac Services Midland Alliance) is an English football league covering most of the West Midlands region, and part of the East Midlands.

The league was formed as recently as 1994, to provide a single league for the region with a higher quality of football. Its members were drawn from the Midland Football Combination and the West Midlands Regional League, both of which are now feeders to the Midland Alliance.

The Alliance sits at step 5 of the National League System, the 9th tier in the overall English football league system. It has traditionally been a feeder to the Southern League, although in 2004 it sent teams up to the Northern Premier League. Two member clubs, Leamington (newly promoted from the Midland Combination) and Chasetown, earned a place in the First Round Proper of the 2005/2006 FA Cup against opponents from the Football League.
