Mike Bell

Mike Bell (born December 7, 1974 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is a former third baseman in Major League Baseball who played for the Cincinnati Reds (2000).

Bell debuted with Cincinnati on July 20, 2000, making history becoming part of the first third-generation baseball family to play for the same major league team. His grandfather, Gus, and father, Buddy, also played for the Reds. Bell's brother, David, is a major league infielder who has played between 1995 and 2004.

In one-year MLB career, Bell was a .222 hitter with two home runs and four RBI in 19 games. He retired on April 28, 2005 after a short tenure with the Memphis Redbirds.
