Mynydd-Bach is the name of an electoral ward, a community and a suburb in the City and County of Swansea, South Wales. The ward is bounded by Morriston and Landore to the east, Cwmbwrla to the south, and Llangyfelach and Penderry to the west.

The electoral ward consists of some or all of the following areas: Clase, Clasemont, Park View Estate, Penfillia Estate, Treboeth, Tirdeunaw, Pinewood, Mynydd Garnlywd and Bryn Rock, in the parliamentary constituency of Swansea East.

The suburb of Mynydd-Bach is located about 2.5 miles north of Swansea City Centre.

There is a common perception in Swansea that much of Mynydd-Bach, particularly Clase, is a part of Morriston. In terms of administrative boundaries, this is not the case.

Clase

Clase is a district of Mynydd-Bach best known for being the home of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, which is housed in a large building visible several miles away.

Park View Estate

Park View Estate, also known as the Simcox Estate, is an area between Treboeth and Morriston in the Mynydd-Bach ward. It was built in the late 1960's to the early 1970's, with many residents saying that it is a very bleak place. There's not even a telephone Kiosk or a post box in the area, and a pub called "The Kings Head" is at least a half a mile away.

Although Park View Estate is not part of Morriston and is at least one mile away, people who live in the area are home addressed as Morriston. The area itself is about three miles away from Swansea city centre.

Surrounding the area are common fields that are usually used for people who keep horses, a park named Llewyllyn Park and an old work house called Morris Castle which was built in the 18th Century.
