1977) is a
Canadian politician. From
7 October 2005 to February 2006, Bains served as the
Parliamentary Secretary to the
Prime Minister.
Born in
Toronto, Ontario, Bains is currently a member of the
Liberal Party of Canada in the
Canadian House of Commons, representing the riding of
Mississaugaâ€"Brampton South since
2004.
Prior to being elected, he was a Revenue Analyst with
Ford Canada.
He attended
Turner Fenton Secondary School in Brampton. In
1999 he received a
Bachelor of Administrative Studies from
York University and in
2001 an
Master of Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) from the
University of Windsor. He became a
Certified Management Accountant in
2003.
He is married to Brahamjot K. Bains.
