General Ngô Quang Trưởng

General Ngô Quang Trưởng was born in 1933, Vietnam.

Biography

He joined the Army of Republic of South Vietnam in 1954. He is considered one of the best generals in the south.In 1967, he was appointed Commander of the 1st Infantry Division in Military Region 1, then in 1971, Commander of the Army Corps IV, Can Tho.

In 1972, he became Commander of the Army Corps I in Da Nang, his last assignment untit 1975. He currently lives in the United States in exile.
