PEWC is the abbreviation of
Pan European Wicca Convention. It is an annual gathering where Wiccans from all over
Europe come together to exchange information, discuss the latest developments in the Wiccan community, have
rituals together, give and take workshops in different aspects of Wicca. The gathering is held every year in a different European country and can be attended by
initiated Wiccans and by invitation only. The location of PEWC is kept secret from the rest of the world to avoid intrusion of journalists and/or sensation seekers and is disclosed even to attendees only a few weeks in advance. The main Wiccan traditions,
Dianics,
Gardnerians,
Alexandrians and
Faery Wicca are represented at PEWC.
