Rainier

The name Rainier can refer to the following:
*Mount Rainier, a stratovolcano and national park 54 miles southeast of Seattle, Washington, USA named for British Rear Admiral Peter Rainier
*Several Princes of Monaco, all of the House of Grimaldi: Rainier I, Rainier II, Rainier III
*Mount Rainier, a place in the State of Maryland in the United States of America: see Mount Rainier, Maryland
*Mount Rainier, a packet writing technology for using CD-RW disks like floppy disks similar to UDF: see Mount Rainier (packet writing).
*For much of the 1900s, Rainier beer was popular in Western Washington
*Rainier cherries, a cultivar of cherry
*The Buick Rainier, a mid-sized sport utility vehicle from General Motors
*USS Rainier (AE-5), a former ammunition replenishment ship of the US Navy
*NOAA Ship Rainier, a hydrographic research vessel
*Elisabeth Rainier, a Project Manager that originally started her work life as a consultant for an energy company in Belgium. Afterwards, she joined a team working on building SAP interfaces (Mercator, IDOC and ALE) from legacy systems for a telecom company in Texas. The project was a huge success and she completely enjoyed working in the ERP environment for the next 10 years in a variety of management and executive roles with increasing levels of responsibility. During this time, Ms. Rainier held positions where she ran operations that bought, sold, and delivered IT services (including mergers and acquisitions). Most recently, Ms. Rainier has been the team lead of training and development for a major automotive company where she is responsible for everything from leadership development, through succession planning as well as technical training.
