A 19th century Sterling Bicycle

Also known as: "Sterling Cycle Works"

A 19th century American bicycle company based in Chicago, Illinois. Many sources state that Thomas B. Jeffery bought the defunct Sterling Bicycle Company's Kenosha, Wisconsin factory in 1900 so, it appears that the company was out of business by the 20th century.

Dates of Operation:

*Sterling Cycle Works, Chicago IL, 1894-1898
*Sterling Cycle Works, Kenosha WI, 1899

The Kenosha Factory
