Strip

Strip may refer to:
* as a noun
** a long narrow piece cut from a sheet material (metal plastic plywood etc)
** a landing strip
** certain other similarly shaped narrow belts of land (occasionally known simply as "The Strip"):
***Agacher Strip
***Aozou Strip
***Caprivi Strip
***Cherokee Strip
***Cotai Strip
***Frontier Strip
***Gaza Strip
***Las Vegas Strip
***Neutral Strip
***Sunset Strip
***Tarfaya Strip
***Toledo Strip
** a power strip
** a comic strip
** strip steak
** other items of a similar shape to that above i.e. length >> width >> thickness. (where >> means much bigger than)

** In Finance, a strip is an instrument created from a bond, where the coupons and the principal are sold separately.

** to take status or possessions away from somebody
** to remove a person's clothes
** striptease - the act of removing one's clothes slowly to music

Stripped may refer to:
* past tense of "strip" — see above
* a person whom stripping (i.e. divesting) had rendered fully or partially nakedthe forced removal of clothes by others, such as a strip search, or mandatory decontamination (e.g. "everyone at the crime scene was stripped and washed down for their own safety").
* In television: a method of broadcasting consecutive episodes of a television programme or series every day of the week (sometimes including weekends) at the same time each day.
