Summer Moran

Summer Moran is a fictional character in the Dirk Pitt series of novels by Clive Cussler. Dirk Pitt fell in love with Summer in Pacific Vortex! But, as recited in that book, he believed her to be killed. However, unbeknownst to Dirk, she was pregnant with his children and survived (with serious injuries). She gave birth to a daughter, Summer Pitt, and a son, Dirk Pitt, Jr.. Summer and Dirk Jr., reunite with Dirk in the later novels. They become employees of NUMA and work with Dirk, participating in the various adventures of the more recent novels.
