Terry Balsamo

Terry Balsamo was born on October 9, 1973) is one of the guitarists of the band Evanescence. He also used to be the rhythm/lead guitarist for Cold. He joined the band shortly before they began recording 2000's 13 Ways to Bleed Onstage. He left the band in late 2003 to join Evanescence full-time, having played as a fill-in guitarist for the departed Ben Moody. His reasons for leaving Cold were concerns of the band's career being up in the air after Geffen stopped promoting 2003's Year of the Spider.

Terry was also a part of Limp Bizkit in their early days. This however was very short lived, although he is credited in Limp Bizkit's debut album, Three Dollar Bill Yall$.

While in Cold, Terry Balsamo would frequently wear a Mike Myers mask on stage while performing.

In November 2005, Balsamo suffered a stroke. As of now, he is out of the hospital and is working on the new Evanescence album. [1]
