USS Randolph

Two ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Randolph, after Peyton Randolph, a member and first president of the Continental Congress.
* The first Randolph was a sailing frigate launched in 1776, and which exploded in 1778 during an engagement with HMS Yarmouth.
* The second Randolph (CV-15) was an aircraft carrier that served from 1944 to 1969.
