Viscount Brookeborough
Viscount Brookeborough, of Colebrooke in
County Fermanagh,
Northern Ireland, is a title in the
Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1952 for
Sir Basil Brooke, 5th Baronet of Colebrooke, the
Prime Minister of Northern Ireland. Brooke was the nephew of Field Marshal
Alan Brooke, 1st Viscount Alanbrooke. The Baronetcy of Colebrooke in the County of Fermanagh was created in 1822 for the first Viscount's great-great-grandfather Henry Brooke.
The family seat is
Colebrooke Park, near
Enniskillen,
County Fermanagh.
