Zeta Sigma Phi Sorority, Inc.

Zeta Sigma Phi (ZΣΦ) was founded on September 16, 1994 at the University of Southern California. It was the first multicultural sorority at the University of Southern California.

History

Zeta Sigma Phi was founded by Jessica del Mundo-Izuno and Karen Zarsadiaz. After rushing for other existing sororities, the founders both felt that there was no sorority that fulfilled their needs and satisfied their expectations and goals. Zeta Sigma Phi was created as a multicultural sorority to address the needs of a diverse group of women. The ideals of the organization are knowledge, color, beauty, and power. Zeta Sigma Phi is known for being a diverse, multicultural sisterhood of women including African-American, Caucasian, Chinese, Filipino, Hawaiian, Hispanic, Indian, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Singaporean, Thai, and many other ethnicities.
